Březňák is a traditional Czech beer whose history dates back to 1753. The name of the brand is derived not only from the name of the village, but also from the quality of the lagers brewed in Velke Brezno. The brewery is associated with a number of personalities, but the most important was undoubtedly Count Karel Chotek, who owned it until the beginning of the 20th century. Despite many changes of ownership, the Březňák brewery has been in continuous operation for 260 years. During this time, Březňák achieved worldwide fame, being exported to the USA, Africa and South America and even delivered to the British House of Lords.
